2017 will be the fourth consecutive year that Pampling has teed it up at the Australian PGA Championship in his home state. His best finish at RACV Royal Pines Resort was tied 15th at the 2016 edition won by American Harold Varner III.
“As a trained PGA Professional coach, incredibly talented player and a proud Queenslander Rod (Pampling) has been a great supporter of the Australian PGA Championship. It will be great to have him teeing it up again in 2017,” added Kirkman.
After recently re-securing his PGA TOUR card, Jones will head to the Gold Coast for the first time since the Australian PGA Championship moved to RACV Royal Pines Resort.
“A PGA TOUR winner, Matt is a wonderful ambassador for Australian golf when he tees it up overseas and we are delighted to have him playing at the Australian PGA Championship this year.
“The international golf schedule is so busy that this is the first time Matt has the opportunity to join us on the Gold Coast. It is a week that I am sure he will really enjoy.”
