Round three of the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship and the Fortinet Australian WPGA Championship is underway in hot conditions at Royal Queensland.
Today shapes as a huge day for a couple of young Australian stars, with local hero Jed Morgan holding a six-shot lead through 36 holes of the men’s tournament, seeking his first win as a professional.
Sydney’s Grace Kim, also a rookie pro, leads the women’s tournament by a shot from experienced LPGA Tour player Su Oh of Victoria.
Kim and Morgan will tee off together in the final group alongside New South Welshman Andrew Dodt at 11.35am local time today.
Tournament favourite in the men’s, Min Woo Lee, is teeing off at 10.51am looking to make a charge.
