18th Precinct

The destination for your ultimate traditionalist golf fan, get up close and personal with the Professionals as they head out on the range or practice green. Catch all the action various locations:

  • Kick back in the village and enjoy the dulcet tones of our acoustic duo in the afternoon sun

Partner Activations

Thanks to our great friends and partners, take part in different activities on and off the golf course, including:

  • BMW & Callaway Golf Simulators - Head to the Champions Village and test your skills on the golf simulators, take part in fun competitions and have the chance to win prizes!
  • BMW - Take your photo at the top of the leaderboard! Head to BMW’s mini-leaderboard in the 18th Plaza for this fun photo opportunity.
  • Dabble - Swing by Dabble's Clubhouse to play VR Golf and win exclusive prizes. You can also register for your chance to win a share in $1 million if there’s a hole-in-one at the Dabble Party Hole! Happening Saturday, 23rd November from 11 am to 4 pm.
  • adidas CHAOS Zone - Come and check out the adidas Chaos Zone to learn about and try on the all new CODECHAOS 25 Range! Interact with the brand and try to Unlock the CODE to CHAOS for your chance to win a brand new pair for CODECHAOS Shoes every day!

  • Hard Fizz – head to the Party Hole for cold drinks, fun games and merch giveaways at the Hard Fizz bar!

Yellow Day

Yellow Day is part of the #DoingItForJarrod campaign, forming part of Jarrod’s Gift in his legacy to help raise much needed funds and awareness for Challenge, supporting kids with cancer.

The first Yellow Day was held in 2018, and officially launched in 2019 as part of the Australian PGA Championship week. Held on the Friday of tournament week each year,

Yellow Day is the culmination of year-round fundraising at the national #DoingItForJarrod golf days and sees the event turn yellow in honor of Jarrod.

In 2024, the Australian PGA Championship will host a week long #DoingItForJarrod event, with a range of fundraising initiatives in an effort to support the cause.

PGA Awards Dinner

The PGA Awards dinner is golf’s night of nights, with the WPGA Tour of Australasia and PGA of Australia working together to recognise the achievements of Australia’s golfing community.

Held during the Australian PGA Championship at Brisbane City Hall, the PGA Awards dinner will be headlined with the pinnacle award for Australia’s best performing Tour Professional of the year, the Greg Norman Medal and supported by a series of National Awards.

Endorsed by Greg Norman himself, the who’s who of golf will attend ensuring the night will not disappoint as it not only rewards the profession of golf but provides the ultimate entertainment and networking evening.

Australian Long Drive

Witness some of the world’s longest hitters at the Australian Long Drive event to be held at 4.00pm on Saturday 23 November.

Following qualifying rounds during the day, the 8 leading hitters will tee it up for the Final from the 1st hole at Royal Qld in a bid for the $5,000 prize pool, plus a bonus $5,000 for the winner.

Players contest elimination match play, with drives exceeding 350m.

Road to the PGA

We’re delighted to announce the return of the “Road to the PGA”, which will provide each participant with a complimentary ticket to the tournament!

This year, we hope to welcome members of local Golf Clubs on the Road to the PGA. One participant from each Road to the PGA event day or week will win their way to Royal Queensland Golf Club to play the championship layout on Sunday 17th November, 2024 before the Tour Professionals grace the fairways (T&C’s apply).

Local Golf Clubs can to host events until Sunday 10th November, 2024

The participation fee of $10 provides entrants with a General Admission ticket to the 2024 Australian PGA Championship that can be used on any day of play, which makes it the best value ticket available to the tournament.
