The Australian PGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola each year attracts thousands of sports fans to Queensland’s spectacular Sunshine Coast.

Australia’s oldest professional tournament, the Australian PGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola boasts an incredible list of past champions with recent winners including Peter Senior (2010,)
Robert Allenby (2009,) Geoff Ogilvy (2008,) and Peter Lonard (2007.)

The Australian PGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola is a family friendly event, made even better by the fact that it is set within the walls of the spectacular Hyatt Regency Coolum resort that caters for each and every need during your visit.

Come and visit the Hyatt Regency Coolum and take part in the week long social extravaganza which also includes the not to be missed Volkswagen PGA Ladies Lunch, a range of activities for up-and-coming golfers of all ages courtesy of Pump Golf, the tournament welcome dinner poolside at the Hyatt, and the official pro-am where amateurs get to play the majestic Coolum fairways alongside the pros.

The 2011 Australian PGA Championship will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coolum from November 24-27.

Venue & Facilities

Gate Opening and Closing Times
Thursday – Friday Gates will open at 5:30am and will close approximately half an hour after play concludes
Saturday – Sunday Gates will open at 6:30am and will close approximately half an hour after play concludes

Access to the Course
Course access is available to all patrons with a general admission ticket. Readmission to the course is available. Please ensure your ticket is scanned by a Ticketek staff member upon leaving to be admitted for re-entry. Patrons are to stay outside the ropes and follow the marshal’s instructions when using the designated crossing points.

Catering on Course
There are catering facilities located in front of the Hyatt Regency Clubhouse, near the Practice Fairway, between the 4th green and 5th tee, between the 8th green and 9th tee and next to the 13th and 17th tee.

Event Merchandise
Official PGA Championship merchandise will be sold in the Sporte Leisure marquee which will be located in the vicinity of the Championship Village.

Grandstands
Grandstands are located adjacent to the 18th Green. Seats will be made available on a first in best dressed bases.

Electronic Super Screens
Electronic Super Screens are located in the Championship Village area to keep all spectators up to date on play.

Public Toilets
Public toilets are located near the 5th tee, 9th tee, 13th tee, 15th tee and the rear of the 18th green

First Aid
St John Ambulance personnel are located on the northwest side of the Hyatt Regency Clubhouse adjacent to the Practice Fairway and Chipping Green.

Information Booth
The Information Booth is located in the vicinity of the Championship Village area. Staff will be able to provide patrons with the daily draw sheet and offer assistance with general enquiries.

Daily Draw Sheets
The daily draw sheet will be made available from the Information Booth located in the Championship Village area.

Event Program
The Official PGA program will be available at the Information Booth.

ATM
ATM’s will be available in the vicinity of the Championship Area.

Mobile Phones Policy
Patrons are required to turn their phones to OFF or put on SILENT whilst on course.

Digital Cameras / Video Cameras
Digital Cameras/Video Cameras are strictly prohibited at the event. Only people with official media accreditation will be able to take photographs.

Inclement Weather
A Golf Tournament can still continue in raining conditions. If the weather is potentially dangerous to players and patrons then a SIREN will sound and play will be suspended. If the siren sounds patrons are advised to seek shelter immediately and AVOID THE FOLLOWING – Open areas, hill top and high places, isolated trees, golf carts, grandstands, telephone poles, metal or wire fences, metal stakes and TV towers.

Autographs
Patrons are recommended to request autographs from a player ONLY at the Kids Zone.

Lost and Found
All lost property will be directed to the Hyatt reception.

- Televisions, radios or any noise producing devices
- Large eskies or milk crates or step ladders
- Signs , posters or banners
- Firearms, weapons or explosives etc
- Alcoholic beverages or glass bottles
- Bicycles
- Pets
